— Soup Mishaps —

Knock, Knock, Knock

Uncle Jeff is here. Kathy, throw some water on the soup. We can add one more for supper.

Who Could That Be?

Tom from work? This must be important. Stay for supper, Tom. Kathy can add some water to the soup.

Ring-Ring

It’s the neighbor. They wish to borrow a shovel. Come on over neighbor, didn’t you hear? Kathy is making soup.

Kathy, Can I Talk To You For A Second?

It’s about the soup. It’s basically all water.

Ding-Dong

Sorry, you have the wrong house. Have you had supper? Soup’s on the menu.

Vroom, Vroom

Kathy drove off for some reason.

Clink-Clank, Splish-Splash

I’m preparing the soup. Kathy usually does this, but she left and didn’t say why.

Slurp, Slurp

Nobody likes the soup. Everyone is mad.

Pound, Pound. Open Up It’s The Police!

No officer, I didn’t know serving people water for supper was a crime. Is this something the police should be getting involved with? This ordeal is giving off more of a litigation vibe.

Clack-Clack-Clack

The judge clacks the gavel. Oh look—Kathy has been called to testify. She can clear this up.

Clunk

The prison door is closed. At least they serve soup.

Cells Unlocked. You’re Free To Go.

A lot has changed in 40 years, but it’s nice to see there are still Barnes & Nobles. Wow—Kathy wrote a memoir. It’s a B&N bestseller. I wonder if she remembers the trial.

Flip, Flip, Flip

I’ll read this when it comes out in paperback.
